Asian Epilepsy Surgery Congress 2026

The 20th Asian Epilepsy Surgery Congress (AESC 2026) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 22–23 November 2026, immediately following the 16th Asian & Oceanian Epilepsy Congress (AOEC 2026). Organised under the auspices of the Asian Epilepsy Surgery Council (AESC), this biennial congress brings together neurosurgeons, epileptologists, neurologists, neurophysiologists, neuroradiologists, researchers and trainees from across the Asia-Oceania region to advance epilepsy surgery through education, collaboration and innovation.

Hosted under the theme "Advancing Epilepsy Surgery in Asia: Precision, Access and Outcomes," AESC 2026 will feature state-of-the-art lectures, case-based discussions, debates, free paper presentations, teaching sessions and hands-on workshops focusing on invasive evaluation, SEEG, neuromodulation, minimally invasive therapies, tumour-related epilepsy and programme development. The congress aims to strengthen regional collaboration, promote sustainable epilepsy surgery services, and inspire the next generation of multidisciplinary epilepsy surgery teams throughout Asia.
